December 27, 2002: Issue 6/2002 of Upgrade on "Security in e-Commerce" available now

Our 6/2002 issue (December 2002) about "Security in e-Commerce" is now available. It has been guest edited by Javier Areitio-Bertolín, Javier López-Muñoz, José A. Mañas-Argemí, and Stephanie Teufel.

The core idea this issue has been built upon is that the key to e-Commerce lies in establishing a relationship of trust between buyer and seller, just as there should be in traditional commercial transactions, and therefore a high level of accessibility, reliability and confidentiality are a must. Under this scenario Security is a critical factor; a matter of capital
importance in the development of any initiative in the area of electronic commercial activities.

The Spanish and Italian editions of this issue will be available soon thanks to Novática, journal and magazine of the Spanish CEPIS society ATI, and to the Italian CEPIS society ALSI and the Italian IT portal Tecnoteca, respectively.
